About this course

Welcome! We're so glad you're here.

Are you new to Slack or looking to refresh your skills? This course, based on Slack tutorials, will teach you what you need to know to get up to speed in Slack quickly. At the end of the course, you'll be directed to complete a 10-question multiple-choice and multiple-select quiz. Once you've passed the quiz, you'll get a badge to prove you've mastered the basics and are ready to level up your knowledge!

At the end of this course, you'll be able to:

  • Create channels using prefixes, channel topics and more.
  • Move your work (including files) out of siloed email inboxes and into Slack.
  • Effectively streamline communication to reduce clutter and noise in your Slack environment.

To set yourself up for success, we recommend that you set aside 1-2 hours to complete the course.

Successful candidates can hold any role in Slack on any plan, but we do recommend you have an active Slack account available for testing.
